Edit a device

Edit a multifunction device (MFD) or single-function device (SFD) from the Devices page of the Cirros Dashboard.

Before you start

Only users with the Company Admin or Edit Devices role can edit a device. If you can’t see the Edit item option, you don’t have that permission. Ask your administrator.

Edit a device’s settings

1. Open Devices. Go to the Devices page.
2. Open the device. Double-click the device, or right-click it and select Edit item.
3. Make your changes. The Edit window opens. You can:
   • View the device’s Terminal Code.
   • Change its Setting Group using the drop-down menu, or click Reset setting group to clear it (set it to null).
   • Edit the device’s Location, which is a free-text description.
   • Tick the Enabled checkbox to control the device through Cirros, or untick it to turn off control through Cirros.
4. Save. Click Update to save your changes.
